Hotel Receptionist


 

The main role of the Receptionist is to be the first point of contact for guests and visitors alike; whether it be greeting guests at the main entrance or taking telephone calls.

The attributes we are looking for in our candidates are:

  • Polite and courteous
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Multitasking
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Word etc)
  • Excellent Self-Presentation
  • Have the ability to deal with guest queries/complaints in a polite and efficient manner, to ensure any issues are resolved immediately.
  • Have the ability to work alone, and as part of a team
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime to cover, when necessary.
  • Excellent telephone manner

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 14-25 per week

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Every weekend
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
  • Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Glasgow, G3 6TX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
  • Complaint handling: 1 year (required)
  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (required)
  • Hotel: 1 year (required)

Shift availability:

  • Day shift (required)
  • Night shift (required)

Work Location: In person
