Salary: P4 (£21,103-£22,716 FTE) Pro rata (£16,390-£17,643)

Times: 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday (half hour for lunch) Term Time Only 38 weeks plus five INSET days

Contract: Permanent

Moss Lane is a two-form entry infant school serving the local community in the heart of the beautiful town of Godalming, with up to 180 pupils on role. We are looking for an experienced and highly efficient office administrator to join our small team in a busy school office. Whilst experience working in a school is not essential, administrative experience is a must!

Duties include:

  • Front Office - school reception area
  • Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g. word, excel, databases, spreadsheets, Internet)
  • School lunch administration
  • Dealing with parental enquiries and visitors
  • Updating school website
  • Letters, newsletters, photocopying and general admin
  • Maintain the school email account
  • Setting up for meetings
  • Dealing with admissions
  • Dealing with attendance and absences
  • Managing the pupil database
  • Assisting with the ordering, maintaining stock levels and distribution of school supplies
  • Maintaining medical and dietary requirement records
  • Any other duties as directed by your line manager/Headteacher
