Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on schemes and projects, helping to formulate a clear brief for successful outcomes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and condition surveys to inform project decisions.
- Develop innovative scheme designs with detailed costings and project timelines.
- Collaborate with contractors, designers, and procurement teams during the tendering process.
- Draft comprehensive specifications for a wide range of projects.
- Assess existing buildings, identifying defects, and proposing effective repair solutions.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Provide expert advice on building regulations, property legislation, and health and safety aspects.
- Manage design, procurement, and on-site inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
- Administer project contracts and assist in producing bid submissions for future funding.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with schools and associated networks.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods and processes.
- Proven project management skills with experience in handling multiple projects of varying sizes.
- Excellent client relationship skills and a track record of meeting project deadlines within budget.
- Possession of a professional qualification, such as Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) or RICS, or actively working towards chartership.
