We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at Wincanton for our Howdens Joinery contract. You will be expected to demonstrate flexibility and capability to perform all aspects of our customer’s needs.

Day to Day
Warehouse duties including picking stock accurately and efficiently using handheld device to scan
Items to be loaded onto pallets
Checking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch
Ensuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care, so it arrives at our customers in perfect condition
Ensuring areas are kept clean and tidy
Working in a team environment in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site
What will you bring?
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
FLT Counterbalance and reach experience is advantageous
Attention to detail to accurately enable the correct picking of stock
Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely
You will be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to work
