Purpose of job/mission:
To ensure that the factory/production areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness
Tasks & responsibilities:
- To ensure the area around each machine is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis.
- To obtain supplies of cleaning materials from Stores and to notify Storeman of
- requirements for ordering purposes,
- To ensure that all rubbish bins are emptied and rubbish put into compactor daily.
- To report any problems with ancillary cleaning equipment immediately.
- To ensure that the standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times.
- To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with good Health and Safety practice.
- To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may from time to time be reasonably required by supervision and which are consistent with the

Skills/Experience:
- Exposure to a manufacturing/fast paced production environment would be advantageous.
- Punctuality and reliability is key
- Able to maintain own schedule and work independently
- Experience/knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
