We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a Housing Support Officer/Specialist Resettlement Coordinator, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.
Working knowledge of homelessness and statutory homeless assessments is mandatory for this role.

Summary:
Specialist Housing Officer required to undertake statutory homeless assessments for service users discharged from hospitals without accommodation.
Requirements:
- A working knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures in relation to adults and housing and how these are applied to service delivery.
- Considerable knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation and in delivering housing access and homelessness services
- Experience Of Working With Homeless People
- Knowledge Of Part 7 Of The 1996 Housing Act And The Homelessness Act 2002
- Some relevant experience in a similar role, preferably housing or other homelessness services to vulnerable people and minority groups

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS.
